Our Z40 Performance Racing Camshaft is engineered with extended-duration lobes and aggressive 6.7mm lift to maximize airflow, expand your rev range, and unlock measurable power gains. Experience sharper throttle response, improved high-RPM breathing, and up to 10–20% power increase depending on your setup. Includes heavy-duty race valve springs rated 10% stronger than stock to prevent valve float at high rpm.

SPECS -

• Valve Lift (Intake & Exhaust): 6.7mm (+0.4mm over standard stock camshafts)
• Increases Power - Extends the time your intake and exhaust valves stay open, boosting engine output by roughly 1 to 2 horsepower (or up to a 10–20% gain depending on your setup).
• Includes 32T sprocket and stiffer race valve springs (about 10% stronger than stock) to prevent valve float at high engine speeds. 
  

FITMENT GUIDE - 

• YX140 Engines: Direct drop-in fitment.
• YX125 Engines: May require swapping the bearings using a bearing press, and your engine must be equipped with a Big Valve Head.
• YX150 Engines: Only compatible with Honda-style heads. Will NOT fit KLX-style heads.

TECH NOTE - Serious mechanical failure can result if the product is installed in the incorrect application. 

• Big Valve Head (BVH) Required: The Z40 Race Camshaft features an aggressive 6.7mm high-lift profile. It is strictly designed for engines with a Big Valve Head (typically 27mm intake / 23mm exhaust).
• Do Not Install in Standard Small-Head Engines: Installing this camshaft in a standard small-valve head (such as stock Lifan 125cc, 110cc, or standard 125cc pit bike engines) will result in immediate, catastrophic engine failure. Because of the high lift and extended duration, the valves will physically collide with each other or smash directly into the piston.
